Eksteen, (Mrs.) Gertrude Ida. Wife of Fred Eksteen, Esquire, Supervising Excise Officer, Paarl, Cape Province. Daughter of H. Parry, Esquire Born at Aberystwyth (Wales). Educated at Aberystwyth and in London. Has been resident in S.A. for nearly 4 years. Is very musical, and is a qualified Oratorio Singer. Has won many medals and prizes at Welsh Eisteddfodden. Gives lessons in voice production and singing. Was a Member of the London Cymric Ladies’ Choir, Favourite Recreation, Gardening, Golf, also very much attached to pets, possessing valuable dogs and birds. Residence, Avondrust, Paarl, Cape Town.
